Fibonacci changes stake size after results. It does not change the underlying odds or remove the house edge.
The Fibonacci betting system uses the famous mathematical sequence:
Each number after the first two is created by adding the previous two numbers together.
In the betting version, the numbers act as stake multipliers. If your base unit is €5, a multiplier of 3 means a €15 stake, while a multiplier of 8 means a €40 stake.
In the standard version, a loss moves the bettor one step forward in the sequence.
A win traditionally moves the progression two steps backward, with the sequence never going below the beginning.

To survive the six losses and still place that next bet, the progression requires at least €165.
This is where Fibonacci differs significantly from Martingale. A single win does not necessarily recover every previous loss.
Using the same example at decimal odds of 2.00:
A winning €65 bet at odds of 2.00 produces €65 profit, but €100 has already been lost.
The progression would therefore still be €35 behind at that point.
Both systems increase stakes after losses, but they do it differently.
Fibonacci usually increases more slowly than traditional Martingale. That can make it appear less aggressive.
But slower stake growth also means that one winning bet may not immediately recover all accumulated losses.
Fibonacci growth is slower than doubling, but the sequence still becomes large when a losing streak continues.
With a €5 base unit, a multiplier of 610 would mean a €3,050 stake.
The progression can therefore become extremely demanding even though the first few steps look relatively small.
The Fibonacci sequence itself determines the stake multiplier, but the odds determine how much profit a winning bet produces.
That matters because a €50 win at odds of 2.00 produces more profit than the same €50 stake at odds of 1.70.
The progression does not automatically adjust its Fibonacci multiplier to guarantee recovery at every price. When odds are below even money, a winning stake returns less profit relative to the amount risked.

Fibonacci determines how much is staked after previous results. It does not make the next outcome more likely to win and does not turn a negative expected value wager into a positive one.
The system changes the distribution and size of bets, not the mathematics behind the game or market.
The early Fibonacci sequence grows relatively slowly. Moving from 1 unit to 1, then 2, 3 and 5 can feel far less dangerous than repeatedly doubling.
That psychological difference can make the progression appear more controlled.
But a long losing streak still pushes the sequence toward much larger numbers, while earlier losses continue accumulating in the background.
Fibonacci can expose the bankroll to increasingly large stakes during a long losing streak, and one win may still leave the overall progression in a negative position.
The calculator makes the progression visible before the numbers become difficult to follow mentally.
